We'll Make You Feel Right At Home.

The Father's House

The Father’s House of Wise County is a non-denominational, Spirit-filled, Christian fellowship located in North Texas. The church has been known for it’s love and unity, revelation Word, moving praise and worship and an openness to the unloved. We have seen many dynamic works of healing, restoration, salvation and other manifestations of the Holy Spirit.

Our Past

The fellowship was birthed out of home fellowship/prayer groups led by Pastor Robert Douglas in 1976. The church has been at the forefront of the moves of the Spirit in our county since its inception and we seek to stay in the middle of what the Holy Spirit is doing in these last days.

We have had a special tenderness towards people in our region and beyond particularly the nation of Israel.

Today

Today our ministry is free of debt and has an active adult membership with a thriving youth and children’s ministry. The membership comes from all walks of life, various social and economic backgrounds. We are knit together to form a fellowship that seeks the Lord's guidance and presence in our daily lives and desires to see His kingdom manifest in and through us.

Our Future

Together we are standing on the strong shoulders of God’s grace in our past as we look towards the future to continue to be a part of God’s plan to save and transform people.

We are in the process of refurbishing and updating our facility to care for the body and prepare for new people coming in. Our children and youth facility has recently received a new exterior and we are now moving towards furnishing the interior. We are also refurbishing our adult worship meeting place as the Lord provides.

Sunday Services

Our services are filled with extraordinary worship where people wholeheartedly sing and demonstrate their love and devotion to God with great enthusiasm, energy and sincerity. We understand that while worship culture and musical style may vary from church to church, true worship is a response of the heart and is in spirit and truth.

God’s Word is relevant and applicable. Our teaching is not merely theory or theological but life changing. Decisions to change are made. The weak are strengthened. Signs and wonders confirm the Word is spoken in Jesus’ name.

Getting Acquainted

When you come we will ask you to fill out the "Let's Get Acquainted" card that we hand out during the service.  We have a special gift for you when you hand it back in.  You may have a need you would like us to pray with you about.  You may write any information on the back of that card and hand it to Pastor or Melanie Casey at the end of service. We will agree with you for your breakthrough!

Ministering Life

The Church is the Body of Christ. As we grow together we reflect His goodness, will and character. The body is made up of people of diverse ages that are equally important. The children and youth ministries are the church of today, not merely tomorrow. Kids and youth have a culture unique to their age. In order to reach them we have to understand their ways of thinking and what is important to them. We also have this approach with our women’s and men’s ministries.

We approach each group according to their needs and interests.

Our HGs(Home Groups) are a wonderful place to come and grow in realtionship and in faith.  Our HG meets on Wednesday and we have others that meet during the week seasonally through out the year.

We also minister to those outside of our church family. We are involved in helping people with basic needs and the life-giving Gospel in Wise County, Guatemala and Israel.
