First Sunday is a go!

On the first Sunday of each month we specifically collect items to send to our troops. (Items may be donated on any Sunday)

 Our strategy is to minister to the troops:

Spiritually -

through prayer and other teaching resources

Emotionally -

through letters and cards, and by reaching out to their families here in the states

Physically -

through gifts.

Here is a list of items that the troops really enjoy:

Please keep all items small and individually wrapped.  Remember, They must travel light and fast.

If at all possible, purchase canned items with tab-pull tops or provide a very small can opener. 

Suggested food Items:

Beef Jerky – Slim Jims

Canned Tuna or Chicken 6 oz

Tuna or Chicken kits w/crackers

Hard candy – gum – nuts

Trail mix – individual pkgs

Energy or cereal bars

Oat and honey bars, etc.

Gator Ade

Suggested misc. items

Playing cards

Board games – for recreational room

Small entertainment Items

DVD’s – Western and action (nothing inappropriate)

Please do not send chocolate or anything that is heat sensitive.

Remember where they are.  Thank you for your continued prayers and gifts.  They are greatly appreciated.
