How many prayers are enough?

God hears you... every time.
Just one man is enough. You do not have to have an army of saints to pray for you. (It is good to have them agreeing with you though. The saints are powerful and each one has Father's ear to His heart.)
It just took one man to pray for rain in the Old Covenant and God sent it:
"The earnest prayer of a righteous person has great power and produces wonderful results. Elijah was as human as we are, and yet when he prayed earnestly that no rain would fall, none fell for three and a half years! Then, when he prayed again, the sky sent down rain and the earth began to yield its crops." (James 5:16b-18 NLT)
But you have a better covenant with better promises!  He is not just with you and for you but God is IN you!
Saint/Believer, you are righteous through JESUS! Not by your own behavior or obedience. (Obedience is now done not out of fear for punishment but out of love! The result is greater revelation of Jesus and life in Him, which is really the only true life. You are righteous even on your worst day, because you received His finished work.)
The lone solitary prayer of a child of God is enough for Abba to hear. His Kingdom is in you and when you pray you release His will as you speak. His Kingdom come! His Will be done! On earth as it is in heaven. (It is all good in heaven)
Make your petitions in confidence and thanksgiving. Praise God the answer is here and being manifested in the secret places!
He loves it when you ask in faith.
Don't give up, keep going.

fighting fire with a bigger fire.

The flow of God's Word in your life creates resistance to the attacks of the world, the flesh and the devil. That resistance must be greater than the attack. The attack always produces fear. The Word always produces peace and joy. If your mind is riddled with fear you know you need to meditate on Father and His Word more.

Sometimes it is impractical to quietly meditate on His Word. Thank God for the ability to quietly pray in the Spirit anytime, anywhere. Thank God for the power of confession that changes the atmosphere of your home from focused on life's storms to being focused on life and life in abundance. Thank God for the ability to turn on praise and worship music while you are involved in life's tasks.

As you do these things you are establishing your heart in Him and His ways of doing things. You are in the vine and producing much fruit and lasting fruit! Producing a life of peace and joy in your home all for Father's glory!

Have a great day! There is no other way to live when you know these things!

Praise God!

It is so hot! I am so thirsty

The summer of 2011 has been a valuable time in the Kingdom. Every day we have been given opportunity to grow. What are you doing with that open door?

The Father’s House is moving forward. We are moving upward in worship. The Magnify the Most High events planned this summer are more than sing-a-longs. They are opportunities afforded to us to prepare for an eternity of worship and adoration. When we gather to sing and worship we are brought into unity of heart. When the church is in unity look out! The Power is on!

“Now the multitude of those who believed were of one heart and one soul…they had all things in common. And with great power the apostles gave witness to the resurrection of the Lord Jesus. And great grace was upon them all. (See Acts 4:32&33 NLT)

As TFH understands and values the opportunities with participation we walk through the door of more. It is good to be thirsty… and better to be satisfied.

Let’s pack the house for these next two Magnify the Most High events. Come to declare Who He is to you and be brought into unity to experience all He has for us at TFH.

The Brilliance of the Star of Christmas

I woke up to the refrain of an old song in my heart today:

“Turn your eyes upon Jesus,
Look full in His wonderful face,
And the things of earth will grow strangely dim,
In the light of His glory and grace.”*

The Star of Bethlehem and the leading character in the Christmas story has always been the Son of God.  It is unbelievable that people run around searching for the “real meaning of Christmas” when this truth is simple and openly expressed and told often.

It is not about family, but it is about how He came to change your family.

It is not about giving to others in need, but it is about how He came so we could have new hearts transformed by His love and then we have the desire to help others all our lives.

It is not about celebrations, but it is about celebrating Him.  He came to rescue us from an eternal hell and a life of trouble.

It is not about lights and decorations but about the Light of the world that lives in all believers.  He led us out of darkness and doom in our hearts into light and hope, love, peace…

It is not about children, but it is about becoming His child through the Son of God.  No longer orphans we are in the family of God with a rich heritage and promised future.

It is not about elves and Christmas magic, It is about The Father loving us so much He supernaturally gave His Son to be conceived in a supernatural way.

It is not about what you get, but the Father giving the best of heaven as a sacrifice in our place.

It is not about being together, but about Emmanuel (that means "God with us").  His presence makes us want to be together with others.  His prayer is, "God make them one."

The Star of the show is Jesus - The Son of God.  He willingly came and gave His life because He loved the Father and fully obeyed Him.  The Father sent Him to rescue us.  Now we can boldly come to the throne of God’s grace and find help in this world.  When you look at the Star, everything else grows strangely dim in the light of His glory and grace.

Keep your heart fresh with the Word and with private times of worship and prayer.  Love others with the knowledge that when you do, you are loving God.  That is the abundant life and no matter how much of Him you have tasted or experienced, there is more to come.

Merry Christmas and Thank You Jesus!
